The story of MIMA Group of Companies is defined by dedication, persistence, and decades of hands-on experience in Pakistan’s construction and services industry.

MIMA’s foundation traces back to 1960, when Mr. Muhammad Sultan Ashraf began his career in the electrical trade. During the 1960s, he established an electrical hardware shop in Ranchore Lane, Karachi—a modest beginning that became the cornerstone of the group’s future growth.

Through consistent hard work, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to ethical business practices, the operation gradually evolved from trading into electrical contracting. By the 1980s, the name MIMA & Brothers had emerged and earned a respected position in the market as a dependable electrical services provider. As client requirements expanded and the market moved toward one-window solutions, MIMA Construction was formally established in 2003. This milestone enabled the company to undertake civil works, construction, and integrated project execution. Since then, MIMA Construction has successfully delivered several notable projects across Karachi, further strengthening its market standing.

Continuing its client-focused growth, and on the valued suggestion of Shahid Abdullah Sahib, MIMA Facilities Management (MFM) was launched in 2009. This expansion completed the group’s service spectrum by offering facility management solutions. Today, MFM is a well-regarded and steadily performing name within its segment.
